Jacobsen Arquitetura is an international architecture office founded in Rio de Janeiro, led by Paulo and Bernardo Jacobsen. As a premise and methodology, we believe in the integration between the built environment and its natural context. We do not start with pre-conceived forms, but rather explore solutions derived from the dialogue between architecture and nature, considering the active contribution of our clients' desires. We explore possibilities using natural materials and interpreting the concepts of transparency, lightness and fluidity, in order to create a contemporary aesthetic language. With projects spanning more than 20 countries, we have offices in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon.
