The name of our studio “Yike Architects” is based on our understanding of the origin of architecture, which in Chinese means “a plant” and is used to define architecture expressing our longing for natural architecture. We believe that architecture has its own life and we love nature and life. We advocate natural architecture and natural lifestyles, and moving towards mountains and returning to body and mind. We focus on the relationship between architecture in nature and nature in architecture, believing that artificial and natural are not mutually exclusive, and attempting to explore this relationship in projects from different backgrounds. We view each project as planting a seed, designing the entire process and striving to break down boundaries of different profession within architect, providing unique and appropriate design concepts for each project and offering complete solutions.
