Lot C in Villeurbanne’s La Soie district is destined to become a symbol, a gateway to the city of Lyon. The project has an airy layout, with three vertical volumes (9 to 19 storeys) – the tallest of which redefines the scale of the surroundings. All three buildings are linked together at different levels with bridges and balconies, making a functional whole. The façades facing North, toward the canal, are cladded in smooth and simple materials, achieving a peaceful urban look. Inside the lot, to the South, balconies and terraces are sculpted into the volumes, providing each apartment with intimacy and planted environments.
