Through a careful process and a deep commitment to this civic asset, Marvel collaborated with Midtown Equities, Centaur Properties, Cipriani, and the Office of Thierry Despont to reimagine the Battery Maritime Building as Casa Cipriani New York, a one-of-a-kind destination that offers an unparalleled marriage of historic grandeur and modern luxury.⁠ ⁠ The Marvel team adhered throughout the property to the Secretary of the Interiors’ guidelines for the treatment of historic properties, while carefully embedding the infrastructure to support a world-class hospitality venue within the historic fabric of the building. As with much of New York City’s waterfront, the Battery Maritime Building has emerged from its industrial past and been reclaimed as a destination for recreation and leisure.⁠
