The pavilion's two iconic curved roofs cover the lawn in undulating mountain shapes. It is geographically and culturally similar to the mountains to Chengdu's west. Roof curvesresemble mountains, and roof lines and cornices outline the soothing and majestic skyline, reflecting the traditional weather of "a hundred feet is the shape, and thousands of feet isthe potential." Chengdu Museum of Contemporary Art, with a building area of 33,000 square meters, is positioned as an exhibition and research center for contemporary art, covering various artforms such as installation art and multimedia art.
