The objective was to provide a secure and fulfilling environment for elderly individuals. The project represents a departure from the conventional elderly care home model, which primarily focuses on nursing care and assisted living. It offers a range of public spaces dedicated to wellness activities for the elderly. Through meticulous spatial planning and architectural renovation, it fosters a community that is engaging and conducive to social interaction, promoting a healthy lifestyle. The community offers its residents a range of amenities and a new perspective on retirement life, ensuring that they can enjoy a sense of ease and comfort from the moment they move in.

The gardens on different levels are arranged according to different themes, with the aim of meeting the needs of different groups of people and different times of the day. The rooftop garden provides a vantage point from which to observe the cultural landscapes of Gongwangfu, the White Pagoda Temple, and Yuyuantan Park, as well as the historical setting of the old Beijing city. The building's exterior is integrated into the surrounding greenery, thereby redefining the concepts of nature and well-being within an urban context.

The project has been designed to the highest possible standards in order to meet the needs of elderly individuals who wish to remain in close proximity to their children and to their familiar living neighbourhood in the city. It is anticipated that the project will have an exemplary role to play in the regeneration of urban areas and in the field of healthcare in central Beijing.
