The equestrian Project is located in a forest like area in the Mexico. It consists of 20 horse stables and a riding ring, four suites, terraces and resting spaces, and the adequate amount of service areas for the use and maintenance of each space. The project seeks to take advantage of the site's topography being that it has a slight inclination, where the stables where semi-buried, allowing to conceal these areas and take use of its roofs as green areas that help repair the land?s image. Each stable contains a semi-buried outdoor patio that provides natural lighting and ventilation.
The riding ring and its corrals are also semi-buried in the land, allowing all the finishes and lids where the horses move around to absorb and recruit rain water, permitting the recollection for the watering and maintenance of the area. The main building, a prism dived in two and covered in wooden tiles, shelters a series of spaces that in form of boxes are adjusted to help generate the social areas. Family rooms, an entrance hall and a kitchen gather on a continuous floor plan where 4 suites that include bathrooms, dressing rooms and terraces with views to the forest, are floating right above them.
It is constructed by a wooden structure that repeats itself rhythmically, allowing a free distribution in the interior. The stables are divided into two separate bodies formed by a mixed structure of masonry walls and a metallic structure.
