The building consists of 4 volumes, which seem to have detached from each other. The remaining fissure of space thus generates shelters and pathways, which are all convivial spaces of meeting and exchange. Given the multiplicity of uses; research, teaching, administrative management and student life: the orientation in the building, the fluidity of traffic, is a key issue for the proper functioning of Polytech and its good ownership by the public. The frosted glass envelope of the building, efficient from an environmental point of view, efficient in terms of maintenance, changes its appearance throughout the day. Sometimes translucent glass, sometimes transparent, playfully performs with natural light. At night, the building stands out like a lantern and reveals to the campus the activity that occupies the fabric of Polytech.
