Located at the intersection of Fairfax and Fountain Ave, this new 10-unit condominium project negotiates the need for increasing housing density in the city while respecting the scale and vernacular of West Hollywood and the surrounding neighborhood. Much care has been taken to reduce the volume of the building by stepping and offsetting each of the different levels in response to the neighboring context. The building is pulled back from Fairfax Avenue, allowing for a communal outdoor garden adjacent to the main entry.
The fourth floor is set back on the northern and southern façade, reducing the perceived height along Fountain Avenue and the northern neighbor.
