With 5 sectors (intimate, social, fun, guests and services) spread over 3 levels and 1300 m², the house's main premise is to protect the family's private life – a couple and their two children –, and, at the same time, allow for an inviting appearance as well; all this without giving up its predominant horizontality. On the lower level are the service and social accesses. Then, an extensive staircase leads to the intermediate level, where the main attractions of the home are concentrated – the social block, with a multifunctional room directly connected to the patio with grass and swimming pool, ‘fun’ and guests.

There, a pergola shades the path and connects to the marquee, crossing the volume and perpendicularly connecting all sectors. Finally, on the last level is the intimate area, isolated from other uses and with guaranteed privacy. Paths that allow transitions between blocks are explored in this project, in order to provide different architectural experiences; from the route traced by the user, new perspectives are created. And, it is precisely through a functional and efficient design that it becomes possible to embrace a versatility of uses and calibrate privacy levels.

The landscaping work by Renata Tilli and Juliana do Val (Gaia Projetos) reinforces the integration with the green, since the house seems to rest delicately on a pre-existing garden, such is its naturalness. Through Jabuticaba fruitful trees, a fish pond and organic lines that accompany the rhythm of the plants, nature is brought into the project and the limits between internal and external are pulverized, to the point of asking: are we inside or outside the house? Furthermore, the proximity of the condominium to Viracopos Airport generates high levels of wind; therefore, vegetation is also applied as a protective barrier, positioned laterally to the social sector and closing off the pool area.

The choice of materialities of light tones and derived from natural elements dialogues directly with the initiative to blend harmoniously with the landscape. The same stone that covers the exterior also ends up entering the house and wrapping around the walls, without a clear definition of where one space begins and the other ends; the same goes for the wood in the ceiling, which brings warmth and makes reference to all the surrounding vegetation. Also, the metallic elements that define the marquee bring lightness and contemporaneity.

In the interiors, designed by Camila and Mariana Lellis, natural elements are also valued, with woodworking as the protagonist.
