Four “tubes” run through the headquarters building. The one near the entrance is designated for VIP reception. The rest are office “tubes”. In-between these three tubes, two atriums naturally take shape, serving as two exhibition halls for corporate culture & artworks as well as the architectural technology of the building respectively. The fluid space between “tubes” can facilitate interaction among staff. The linear space of the architecture makes it easier for the employees to get to the sports venues in the urban park.

The project integrates passive and active solutions to manifest a cultural and green building in cold climate regions with a focus on comfort and health. Passive house solutions. For example, the curved surface is covered seamlessly by insulation material with inorganic fiber paint, and installed with VELUX smart glazing system. Active house solutions. For example, smoke exhaust windows with electronic control are installed in the atriums to create natural ventilation and lighting through stack effect.

Besides, terraces and balconies promote human-nature interaction. The building will provide a comfortable, environmental, green, and healthy working space popular among employees. It will also stand as a distinct concretization of the corporate culture.
