The project is located in Harbin, a high-latitude city in China. With a total floor area of 8000 square meters, this headquarters building takes a prominent spot in a sci-tech town, which has a signed partnership agreement with the German Energy Agency and is committed to the construction of low-energy buildings in cold climate regions. The building is designed as a cluster of “landscape tubes”, which are well matched with the overall architectural setting of the town. These “tubes” give the visual and spatial experience which bridges the research office area on the west side and the urban park on the east side.
