Located on a four-acre lot, the new 18,500-square-foot library is more than just a replacement for its aging predecessor; it’s a hub designed to nurture health, connection, and resilience for both its occupants and the wider community. Drawing inspiration from the surrounding farmland, the building embraces the aesthetics of local agricultural architecture, with its dark grey brick, aluminum, and composite wood siding evoking the texture of weathered barn wood. This nod to the area’s heritage connects visitors to the region’s character while reinforcing a sense of place.
