The project was inspired by the Biblical accounts of the Resurrection of Jesus, recreating in contemporary form, the cave where Jesus had risen on Easter morning. It was selected as a Special Mention in the Architizer A+ Awards for the Architecture +Small Projects in 2022. The mausoleum is at the from and center when viewed from the lawn dedicated to underground burials. Its height and form stands out from its neighbors and the dark interiors create a triangle that seems to point towards the heavens.
