The design aims to empower new functions and image integrating the current situation, meeting the needs of all ages people so that to stay here willingly, and making the underpass space more attractive. Therefore, the design project created an all-age theme park full of freedom, interest and attraction by the free street court. The story of “a colorful mandarin and other colored fruit fall into the field” was led in for changing the color and texture of fruit into the functional lines of basketball field, and dividing the space into three standard half-court basketball spaces and a funny basket court.

The 12-steps was transformed into muti-functional stand including court grandstand, booth, disabled ramp, slope for children, fast-access step, step booth and counter. Integrated with underpass passage, the site designed a colorful art business area, providing goods, light meals and rest place. Now, the sinking space is not the simple underpass place, but a diverse and inclusive space based on the street basketball game, fun shooting and children playing.
