Photographer: Michael SchnellThe building is situated in an industrial zone between two roads (one with a high volume of traffic). Despite these initial difficulties, the house has become a secure and comfortable place completely oriented to a child’s point of view. The scale is child-friendly, large and small alike, and respects the difference between kindergarten-age children and toddlers. The house allows children to engage all of their senses. The group-rooms get light from both the southeast and the southwest through the elevated room spaces, so that the progression of the day is visible.
