Luminous Passage was selected for the one night only, biennial GLOW art festival in Santa Monica, California. The project was designed over a six month period, installed in three days and experienced during one night. The project is a linear space that links the city to the ocean, extending the existing Bay Street boardwalk to the water's edge. Our intention was to make visible the connection across the sand to the edge of the ocean. This visual land bridge transitions a conceptual leap that moves from the logics that define the city to the those of the ocean.
