This residential project is located on an elongated terrain overlooking the sea of Cabos San Lucas. We established a formal language using some series of large rammed earth walls, patios that help us to configure the different spaces within the house and some water mirrors with small waterfalls that rings coolness and serenity. This project creates a deep connection with the nature translated in open spaces that serves to introduce natural lighting and cross ventilation. The earth as construction material gives a sense of roots to Cabo House, the chromatic and texture offered attend as a perfect framework for the generous views towards the blue of the sea and the infinity of the sky. The access has a blind fa̤ade where the second-level bedroom volume serves as a cover that directs the user, through a private patio, to the main entrance. This patio holds a tree over a water mirror that brings coolness and serenity. The main patio contains a mirror of water between two walls of rammed earth of double height, framing the diaphanous sky. On the lateral side we got a garden of organic growth. A small incision on one of the earth walls leads the way to a small waterfall, making this place a contemplative space that also serves to introduce natural lighting and cross ventilation to the residence. The east facade is completely open towards the sea, the solar incidence has been modulated with imposing concrete slabs flying over the social area in ground floor, upstairs the slabs serve as terrace for bedrooms. A pool at the edge of the land marks a thin line that fades with the horizon of the sea.
