In contemporary architecture, architects are increasingly experimenting with non-conventional building materials to explore new possibilities in design. Often, the most enticing aspect of such endeavor lies in utilizing a given material as a spatial device and the perceptual quality of the resulting work. The essence of this exploration involves tectonic thinking and investigating material characteristics. In this series of projects, the project team examined three materials (Paper, Wool, and Plastic), exploring ways to rethink and redefine the use of selected materials for the application.
