This summer residence is situated on the isolated steep topography of the Mediterranean Island of Kea. The house, placed parallel to the view, is organised as a sequence of spaces ranging from outdoor to partially covered and completely enclosed. These volumes create cinematic frames of the sea and the neighbouring islands. The back side of the house is submerged while the from of the house is completely exposed. All the support functions of the house are placed along the back wall of the house allowing for unobstructed movement and views through the house but also to the outside.
