Pavilions in a Peony Garden

The project is located in a peony garden in north suburb of Luoyang, the most ancient capital city of China, which is also renowned for peony flower. The purpose of the project is to transform specific area of the garden into a ground for assembly and working spaces of artists and cultural facilities. It is consisted of four individual pavilions along an existing 150 meters’ long outdoor veranda, two on each side. The first two pavilions constructed are the gallery for workshop and exhibition (pavilion 1) and the teahouse/lounge room (pavilion 2), located in the linear cedar forest to the north of the veranda.
