Qujiang Tourism Light Rail Station Renovation and Upgrading

The 6.8km Qujiang Sightseeing Light Rail Line runs through the Tang Paradise and Qujiangchi Ruins Park, including 9 stations and 1 maintenance station. The station bodies are arranged in the upper part, and the auxiliary commercial and convenience facilities arranged in the lower part. This renovation practise, as a new landmark of tourism in Qujiang area, not only meets the sightseeing function of the light rail, but needs to reshape the business format and bring new vitality to the urban space. As the different external environment surrounding each station, the renewal stations are divided into four types according to their texture, natural environment, urban context and surrounding social activities. "LiveFun Pavilion" stations are located in a corner of city square, they adopt the form of double slope roof, use large and small roofing to solve the scale issue caused by the height of the 3-story volume, so that the space and the surrounding environment can coexist harmoniously.
