The municipal facilities around the Workers' Stadium are relatively old. The reconstructed Workers' Stadium is designed in a way that helps alleviate the burden of the surrounding municipal facilities. The project innovates the key technologies for rainwater, reclaimed water and ecological reuse.

Besides, it resorts to ecological technology to solve the problems of lawn and greenery irrigation at the new Workers' Stadium, and to improve the urban drainage environment in the surroundings. The project is in line with the design concept of world-class professional football fields, using the anchor grass system that has become the mainstream in the European top league. The project adopts the principle of maximizing the opening area of the canopy, using polycarbonate sheets with a high transmittance rate (70%-90%).

The polycarbonate sheets utilize the light wavelength control UV technology, which can make the visible light beneficial to the growth of grass into the site and shield the unfavorable light wavelength, minimizing the energy consumption of the professional football turf for light supplementing.
