Architecturally, the project’s defining feature is its dynamic second skin: a veil of expanded aluminum panels, arranged in an informal composition. This permeable façade modulates light, preserves privacy, and offers ever-changing views across seasons and times of day. Behind it, a robust building envelope achieves an effective R27.5 thermal resistance without thermal bridging, significantly improving energy efficiency and occupant comfort.
Connected to the eco-district’s innovative shared energy loop and rainwater management systems, Rose des Vents dramatically reduces heating and cooling demands. High-efficiency mechanical systems, heat recovery, and durable, locally sourced aluminum materials reinforce the project’s environmental commitment, ensuring long-term resilience and low carbon impact.
