The living room within a remote village – a reflection about “the still ordinary” and “weight of the locus” For the sake of preserving the decent spatial scale for the remote village station with very low rider-ship, the building volume is fragmented intentionally and open to the public; adoption of local materials and colour tone enhance the fusion of the station and landscape; also provide the embeddedness with the texture of the environment. We intended to keep the ease-ness that a small station usually has instead of introducing a grand architectural event to arouse.
