For Summer 2015, Howard Hughes Corp. partnered with Guild to construct eight semi-permanent modular pods to house the vendors of the heavy trafficked outdoors food market, Seaport Smorgasburg. Fabricated using steel, wood, and perforated metal, these attention-grabbing faceted forms offered purveyors an array of amenities that are not typically found at outdoor food markets including running water, electricity, refrigeration, lighting, and locked storage. In addition to the pods, Seaport Smorgasburg boasted a fully functioning bar, where guests imbibed and enjoyed the warm summer weather.
