SILVERFISH ST.

SILVERFISH ST. was one of the earliest developed neighborhoods during the German occupation period in Qingdao. The courtyard building in the block is a unique regional traditional residential architectural form in Qingdao, originally designed by the German company Himsen Architecture. After a hundred years of development, the overall scale of streets and alleys has been preserved, and the vast majority of buildings have been dilapidated, but they also overlap with different states in each historical period. The protection, renovation, and design of SILVERFISH ST. is more like a dream making practice, a unique, sustainable, commercial, warm, and interesting challenge.
