The project is located in Snail Bay area of Kunming, which was once a wholesale market and prospered at that time. However,with the area unresponsive to its changing environs and was gradually abandoned. In order to revitalize the land, the government upgraded the original site and replanned the surrounding area around Central Lake Park. The city exhibition hall is designed to show the future development of Luoyshi Bay area. The old building to be renovating has been abandoned for five years,but is adjacent to Central Lake Park and has excellent natural landscape resources.
