The Escondido Village Graduate Student Housing project includes four highrise dormitory buildings, an underground garage topped with sports fields, and a spacious pavilion that houses a brewery, commercial kitchen, and dining space for faculty and students. To meet the fast-track construction schedule while maintaining the mission-style architectural aesthetic of Stanford's campus, the buildings are constructed of structural precast concrete floor and wall panels that serve as both the building envelope and the structural system.
