Fused within the programme are exploratory opportunities relating to Estonia’s five national park landscapes in the form of biotopes. Every level is filled with a narrative through internal and external connection; the undulating floor plates surround an open-air courtyard and are physically joined by a continuous ramp, culminating at the expansive views of the City at the rooftop park. Framed and programmatic moments highlight the biotopes; their unique vegetation and geography celebrated directly through views, and indirectly through programmed spaces for learning and interacting with Tartu’s natural beauty.
