The D.H. Chen Foundation

Shadow Design has tailored the office of a textile contributor in Hong Kong into a lively workspace by weaving aesthetic, functionality and its history. It celebrates engagement by embracing flexibility as the core design strategy. The meeting room can serve for social purpose without losing privacy by altering the layout and transparency of partitions. Curve treatment and transparency present the office as a fabric seamlessly interlacing the ceiling, wall and floor. Elements are also detailed and embroidered to highlight the character of the office from a textile-based history.
