It plays two rules in the industry of China: the thruster of GDP and the destroyer of natural environment. The factory locates at one of most attracted areas in China -- an area between Tonglu and Fuyang which is also a object depicted in a famous Chinese painting Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains. Architect tries to look for a strategy to balance the demand of balance developing the economy and protecting environment between nature and urban area. For nature, we design to retain natural mountains and water and countryside in the field; for express road and rural area, we respond the production requirement of industry assembly line with abstract and experimental huge brick painting.
The brick painting combining with environmental argil bricks and natural mountains and artificial landscapes restores the visual experience of scattered perspective of Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains and attracts public’s attention in many respects. It bears the weight of colorful life and experience of workers between the leisure nature and hurried factory just like a modern industrial settlement. The strategy is successful in a manner. The government is also aware of the project and recommends the strategy balancing ecology and economy to other factory owners newly built in this area which makes us realize that the active tries will not only affect the project itself but also bring a demonstration to social economy and development of the whole developing countries.
