Two Adams is a new multi-family housing project located in the Second Ward of Houston, Texas. The project takes advantage of increased density by transforming an existing suburban lot into courtyard style infill housing. Previously a single-family home now sits a collection of six individual two-story houses, dispersed around three courtyards. Each unit has access to both a street entrance and a communal courtyard. The project’s façade extends past the roof line to create a sheltered, occupiable third floor deck with views of downtown Houston.
