Owned by the Nemetschek Group, Vectorworks includes tools for all project stages, from pre-design and schematic design to design development and construction documentation.

Vectorworks Architect enables the user to sketch, model, and document their design ideas with precision drafting capabilities and a 3D modeling engine powered by SIEMENS Parasolid.

The software includes integrated BIM tools allowing users to run “what if” scenarios, automate schedules, calculate costs, and analyze energy efficiency to maximize each design element.

Vectorworks also incorporates tools for architects to collaborate and share files with colleagues, consultants, and clients.

The platform offers support for openBIM and IFC, and direct links with Revit®, SketchUp, Rhino, Photoshop and Cinema4D. .
